Time and Place

Workshops are typically held on the 4th Wednesday of the month (two weeks after the month's general meeting) at the Elks Lodge.  Doors open at 8:30 am and participants should arrive promptly to set up for instruction to begin at 9:00am.  Workshops end by 3:00pm.

Alterations to this schedule or location may be made from time to time and will be addressed to the membership in advance.

Registration/ Sign-ups

  • Sign-ups will be on a first-come, first-paid basis. Workshop fee is due upon sign-up to guarantee a space in the class.
  • Standard class fee beginning August 2019 shall be $20 per workshop.  At the Board's discretion, the fee may be adjusted in accordance with instructor costs.
  • Maximum class size will be determined by the instructor, subject to limits imposed by the venue, or as otherwise deemed necessary by the board.
  • If space is available, non-members may be included for a fee of $30. At the boards discretion, this fee may be adjusted in accordance to instructor costs.  Availability will be determined at the general meeting immediately preceding the workshop; if non-members cannot be accommodated at this point, their paid fees shall be refunded.

Cancellation

  • A full refund of paid class fees will be given to a member participant only if notice is given by the participant two weeks prior to the scheduled class (i.e., before the end of the general meeting immediately preceding the workshop).
  • Fees may be refunded in instances of in attendance due to unforeseen illness, emergency, or other circumstances at the board's discretion, on a case-by-case basis.

Copyright Compliance

  • Patterns and directions used must conform to copyright laws; therefore, each participant must purchase required materials.  When applicable (as determined by the board), instructors must obtain written permission of the author/designer holding the copyrights.
