About Us
Welcome to Tuleburg Quilt Guild
Tuleburg Quilt Guild was founded by Billie Perry and a group of Stockton area quilters in 1987.
The purposes of the guild are to:
- contribute to the growth and knowledge of quilting, needle arts, textiles, patterns, and history.
- Provide educational meetings, time for quilting, fun and fellowship.
- Sponsor and support quilting activities.
- Contribute and participate in community outreach programs.
Membership is open to anyone interested in our shared purposes. Dues are currently $60 yearly. Responsibilities of membership include the following:
- Participation in philanthropic activities.
- Members are expected to donate a quilt yearly, traditionally during their birthday month, to the Tuleburg Quilt Guild philanthropic group of their choice. In lieu of a quilt, members may donate batting or money to purchase batting.
- Participation in fund raising.
- All members are responsible for purchasing or selling $25 worth of opportunity quilt tickets each year. Note: this is taken from the $60 membership dues paid.
- Members must contribute 4 hours of time, or the equivalent, towards the yearly fund raising activity.
- Participation in Meetings.
- Members are responsible for providing refreshments once a year. Assignments are listed in the monthly newsletter. If unable to attend their assigned meeting, other arrangements should be made.
